I sent an email to our local NPR station here in Cleveland. The DJ is Dan Poletta. I asked him to consider doing a tribute to Elvin on one of his nightly jazz shows. He emailed me back about an hour later and last night he did an hour long tribute to the man his music and his life. Then I recieved an email from Bobby Jackson of NPR who is planning to do an extensive expose of Elvin in the very near future. Loads of thanks to both of these gentleman for the respect and admiration that have shown through their dedication to true music and true musicianship. Elvin lives on in the heart and minds of us all. PT.
